H-PCAP Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Apply to be a Voting Member of our Organization
Halton-Peel Community Aphasia Programs (H-PCAP) is an Ontario non-profit organization with a mission to improve quality of life and maximize independence for adults living with aphasia and their families by providing:
- Community-based programs
- Professionally supervised communication groups
- Psycho-social support
- Education
H-PCAP is governed by a Board of Directors elected by our members. Our voting members have the opportunity to provide input about H-PCAP.
Membership is open to:
- Adults living with aphasia or an acquired communication impairment
- Caregivers
- Friends
- Anyone who is interested in furthering the purposes of H-PCAP

All applications must be received by Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 5pm.
Notice of Annual General Meeting
Topic: H-PCAP Annual General Meeting
Time: Thursday, October 30th from 5:30 - 6:30 PM
Where: All registered voting members will be sent a Teams' link to join the virtual meeting.
Agenda items will include:
(1) Approval of 2024 AGM minutes
(2) Presentation of annual financial statements for year ending March 31, 2025
(3) Appointment of auditors
(4) Approving updated Purpose for Articles of Amendment
(5) Approving new ONCA-compliant ByLaws
(6) Election of Directors
Voting
You may vote at the Annual General Meeting by attending the meeting. You must have applied for Membership
by 5pm on Thursday, October 16, 2025 to be eligible to vote.
You can also vote by Proxy (i.e. by choosing someone to vote for you).
If you wish to vote by Proxy, please click here to complete the Proxy Forms.
Please note that only duly executed Proxies are eligible to vote at the AGM.
To be eligible, Proxy forms must be received by 5pm on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
