Annual General Meeting

​Halton-Peel Community Aphasia Programs is an Ontario non-profit organization with a mission to improve quality of life and maximize independence for adults living with aphasia and their families by providing: 
  • Community-based programs
  • Professionally supervised communication groups
  • Psycho-social support 
  • Education

H-PCAP is governed by a Board of Directors elected by our members. Our voting members have the opportunity to provide input about H-PCAP.

​Membership is open to: 
  • Adults living with aphasia or an acquired communication impairment 
  • Caregivers 
  • Friends 
  • Anyone who is interested in furthering the purposes of H-PCAP

Notice of Annual General Meeting 

​Topic: H-PCAP Annual General Meeting

Time: Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 6:30 PM 
 
Where: All voting members will be sent a Zoom link to join the meeting. 

Agenda: 

(1)    The presentation of the annual financial statements for the year ended March 31, 2022;
(2)     The appointment of auditors;
(3)    The election of Directors; and
(4)    Other Business

Financial Statements
Nominations for Officers or Directors
All candidates and their nominators must be members of H-PCAP.  Membership Forms and Nomination Forms are available below.  Nominated Members must confirm his or her acceptance of the nomination on the form.  All Nomination forms must be received by the Secretary by Thursday, September 9, 2022 at 5:00 pm by emailing the executed form to info@h-pcap.com. 

Voting
Voting at the Annual General Meeting may be in person or by proxy. Proxy forms are available by clicking here. Please note that only duly executed proxies emailed to the Secretary at info@h-pcap.com by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27 are eligible to be voted at the Annual General Meeting.  To be eligible to vote you must be a Member as of Thursday, September 9, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.
